If some one want to buy property through Bank financing, then usually it takes 30 to 45 days.
In which buyer need to pay 20% down payment and 80% amount will pay by Bank.
Payment Schedul of Instalment fix by buyer, either buyer fixed instalment of 5 years or 10 years or 20 years.
Until Unless borrower not clear all dues, original documents of property Bank keep it self, in other world we can say Morgade.
